We are about to take the family on our summer vacation and our family of four, including two little kids, can no longer fit all of our luggage into the small cargo hold of our Subaru Forester. We opted to buy these rails along with a waterproof luggage bag to mount to the roof. There is not much to say about these rails other than that, as other reviewers have pointed out, they are exactly what they say they are: sturdy, durable rails that adapt easily to most vehicle’s existing cross bars. i installed them in under 20 minutes, which would easily have been 10 if I hadn’t stopped to make a few spacing adjustments along the way. I am not sure if I will ever understand why these rails (not just these in particular, but all of them in general) cost so much, even at Amazon’s competitive price, but I will say that they are well engineered and built, which makes absorbing the cost much easier.
